Turn out that Amy took a long-ass nap since this afternoon! Heh!
Shadow- You'd better go inside now. You look like you're already catching a cold.

Shadow- Gesundheit.
Amy- …sniff…thanks…
Shadow- (sigh)…Let’s get you in before you get any worse.

(Rumbling sound of thunder)

Amy and Shadow looked up.
Amy- uh-oh…looks like it’s going to rain.
She stared at Shadow who was still looking up.
Shadow- I should get going.
Amy- Maybe…
Shadow- Huh?
Amy- Maybe…you should come inside too…
Shadow-What?
Amy- Ah! You know… so you won’t have to catch a cold!
Shadow-I don’t want to invade but…
Amy- Just call it an invite!

The rain began to pour down. Shadow grabs Amy and ran inside the house. The temperature’s gotten lower and without any heaters around, Amy brought blankets for them both. As she went to the kitchen, Shadow couldn’t help but watch her going into the trouble to look for something warm. He walks around the living room, just browsing around, and on top of a desk he saw a picture of Amy cream,……Sonic….

Shadow- (turn reddish) …ugh…that useless piece of shit.

He flips all the pictures of Sonic over and sat back down on the couch. Amy came back holding a tray filled with two cups of Hot Cocoa, which got Shadow’s attention by the Aroma of it.

Amy- Here a cup for you. It’s still warm so drink up.
Shadow- Sure…Thanks.
Amy-(smiles)
Lightning strikes and caused a blackout.
Amy- Oh-No! The lights…

The Loud Boom of thunder causes something to crash.

Shadow- Huh? Amy, are you okay…uh…Amy?

She dropped the tray and her cup spilled all over, she fell to her knees with her hands covering her ears,…crying, frighten out of her mind.

Shadow- um…Amy,…are you afraid of thunder?
Amy- What?...Don’t be silly! I’m not afr…!

(Thunder roars even louder.)

Amy- Aahh!!!

The poor girl freaked out so much that she threw herself backwards and cried even more. Seeing how this weather frightens her so much, it’s no wonder why she asked him to come inside. He sat right close to Amy on the floor and put his arms around her. Another thunder bolt hits and Amy went berserk, this made him hold even tighter until the lightning stops. Yet the rains stills continue.

Shadow- Hey…it’s okay now. It’s over…
Amy-Don’t let go!
Shadow-!?!

His eyes widen when she grabbed him, her face filled with tears.

Amy- Pleased down let go...please…(starts crying again)
Shadow- (hugs her) Don’t worry, I’m still here. You have nothing to be afraid of now. You’re not alone, and I don’t plan on leaving you like this, …so don’t cry anymore…you’re stronger than that. Just close your eyes, I’ll be here so just rest…
Amy- (sniff)…I’ll try…
Shadow- (At least I won’t leave you…not like some people I know.)

Later that morning, Amy wakes up from her bed, feeling a bit dizzy. She took a bath, then went to the kitchen finding herself all alone in her house. Everything still clean and untouched, the pink hedgehog starts to think that everything that happened last night was just a dream…or nightmare.

Since we know Amy in busying herself with, lets go check on what going on with Shadow. Hmmm, I see he’s hanging out with Rouge on top of the G.U.N. building’s roof……Let’s go and have a looksy! Shall we?

Rouge: So! You think you got a chance with her?
Shadow: Doubt it…
Rouge: Aw…you could at least try…they say a little love won’t hurt anybody.
Shadow: I knew I shouldn’t have told you this…it’s not like I have a chance…then there’s that blasted hedgehog…(turns reddish again)
Rouge: Oh? (suspicious look on her face)…I don’t think Amy’s your only problem.
Shadow: Hm?
Rouge: For a jealous person to be, you sure talk a lot of trash about Sonic…(sigh) Never a day when you don’t talk about him. It’s like your excuse to say that you’re crushing on him…(Grins at Shadow)
Shadow:!!!(Blushes) What kind of nonsense are you talking about!?
Rouge: That’s it.(Snickers)
Shadow: This is absurd!! There’s nothing that THAT blue hedgehog is worth for!
Rouge: You’re in denial…(smiles)
Shadow: Shut-up!!! If you’re just going to talk about this to me all day, then I’m leaving!!
Rouge: I will.
Shadow: Then, Good-Bye!!!

G.U.N. Worker: Um sir…you didn’t have to break the door open…
Shadow: (Looks back at the guy with an evil expression around his face.)
G.U.N. Worker: (Eeeek!) Uh…n…never mind…(cries)T^T

Shadow: Sometimes I wonder why I have this job…it’s sort of a waste of time.

He leaves the G.U.N Building a heads to Emerald Coast. Once he arrived, he sit in the dock. Just to clear his mind off, he started to throw some rocks he had and tosses then into the sea, until he notice something inside the water.

Somewhere in the Mystic Ruins, where Tail’s workshop is located at, lies a Cute Blue hedgehog on the rooftop of it. It look like he was thinking about something, and it has been on him mind for a long time now. That ‘something…or Someone is the person that we all truly hate and love, Shadow the hedgehog. Truth is, Sonic had been crushing on him for sometime now, and it make this lil hedgie wonder if he even has a chance to get with Shadow. The fact that Amy bugging Sonic all the time, makes him want to throw her over the cliff…which he would. With her out of the way there’s no problem, right? But then again there’s Rouge. But she likes Knuckles, and she might just be friends with Shadow…ummm.

Sonic: Oh, who am I kidding! He lives with her!!...But…then again (deep sigh)

Sonic: Yo Tails! What’s Up?
Tails: Cream and her Mom are making a Party and they invited us to go!
Sonic: …I don’t think I want to go.
Tails: Aww!? Come On!! Everyone is going to be there! Hmm…lets see now…Knuckles will be there, Amy will…(looks up)?
Sonic: (Give him a serious look)
Tails: Okay, scratch that…uh…Oh! Shadow, Rouge, and the Chaotix are going too!
Sonic: (Hello!)Hmm…well, if they’re going…huh?
Tails: (Gives him the Sweet puppy eyes)
Sonic: Fine! I’ll go! Just quit staring at me like that! It’s kind of creepy…
Tails: Awesome! Yay! We’re going! We’re goi-aahh!!!…oof!!!(falls off the balcony)
Sonic: Tails! You alright?!
Tails: I see pretty lights…*faints*
Sonic: Oh god…OO;

Later at Emerald Coast, Shadow still sits on the dock, staring at the ocean. Knuckles sees him and start to chat with him.

Shadow: Not really.
Knuckles: Hm…Heard there’s a party coming up. Are you going?
Shadow: (turns gloomy) I don’t have much of a choice.
Knuckles: Eh???

Rouge: If you don’t go to that party, I will gladly expose this picture to everyone for not being there!

Shadow: (widened his eyes) You wouldn’t Dare.
Rouge: Try me. Ripping it up is pointless since I have the negative of it.
Shadow: Ack!
